Bronzino studied under Raffaellino del Garbo and Pontormo when he was only 14 yrs old.
In 1563, Bronzino was a founding member of the Accademia delle Arti del Disegno.
Bronzino was the official court painter of the Duke and his court for most of his career.
Bronzino’s favorite pupil was Alessandro Allori. He was living with the Allori family at the time of his death in 1572.
